Clemson student reports campus attack

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Clemson University police are investigating after a 24-year-old student was found unconscious behind a campus building.

Authorities said the woman told investigators she was out jogging around 1 a.m. Saturday when someone grabbed her from behind and attacked her near the Life Sciences Facility.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she spoke to police.

Clemson University sent out an alert on the attack to students. Police say they have increased patrols after dark in the area where the woman was found.
