SELMA, Ala. (AP) - Police have arrested the owner of a Selma barber shop after officers found a man shot to death inside the store.

WSFA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1h16WEd ) Selma police arrested 31-year-old David Johnson after interviewing him about the shooting Friday night.

Police say witnesses told them Johnson and the victim got into an argument about an appointment at Eighty’s Rack Barbershop that became more heated and led to a physical fight. Police say Johnson then pulled a gun and shot the man.

Officers found a man in this thirties lying dead inside the barbershop with gunshot wounds to his right leg and lower back. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

It was unknown Saturday if Johnson had an attorney.
