CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A 28-year-old Cheyenne man has denied severely abusing his girlfriend’s son.

The Wyoming Tribune-Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/1cG5AKJ ) Aaron H. Bridger appeared in Laramie County District Court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to five felony counts of child abuse. He is accused of fracturing the boy’s arm, giving him two black eyes, burning him with a cigarette and scalding his feet during the first half of 2012.

Bridger, who faces up to 25 years in prison if he is convicted of all five counts, is scheduled to go to trial April 22.
