“American Hustle” and “Gravity” stole the show this morning with 10 Oscar nominations, but some big names were missing from that list, including Oprah Winfrey, late James Gandolfini and CNN documentary “Blackfish.”

Thor star Chris Hemsworth announced the nominations alongside Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs Thursday morning, Parade reported.

Oprah’s performance in Lee Daniels’ “The Butler” was recognized for Best Supporting Actress by the Screen Actors Guild and BAFTA Awards, but she was snubbed by the Academy, the magazine said.

Also missing from the lead actor category was Robert Redford for “All Is Lost,” Tom Hanks for “Captain Phillips,” and Emma Thompson for “Saving Mr. Banks.”

Late “Sopranos” star James Gandolfini posthumously released “Enough Said,” earning Best Supporting Actor nods from the SAG Awards and Independent Spirit Awards, but not the Academy, Parade reported.

It didn’t take long for the Twitterverse to explode at the news.

“The Butler being shut out has to be the biggest Oscar snub of the season especially Oprah’s performance it was simply magnificent,” wrote Scott Madison.

“No Tom Hanks? No Redford? No Blackfish? No OPRAH!? What is the world coming to!!!????” wrote Sean Sekino.

Many Twitter users cried foul after news broke that CNN’s “Blackfish,” which documents SeaWorld and highlights the dark side of orca captivity, would not be receiving a nomination from the Academy.

“You know what you get when you rearrange Oscar? ORCAS,” wrote one Twitter user.

“Can the Blackfish people do another documentary about how SeaWorld money shadily blocked an Oscar nomination?” wrote another.
