NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Jaron Johnson and Kenyon McNeail both scored 14 points as Louisiana Tech crushed Tulane 73-45 on Thursday.

La Tech (15-3, 3-0 Conference USA) got 11 points from both Alex Hamilton and Chris Anderson. The Bulldogs shot 35.5 percent as a team, including 11 of 35 beyond the arc. They dominated on the boards, out-rebounding Tulane 53-37.

Tulane (9-9, 1-2) shot just 23 percent from the floor, including missing on all 14 3-point attempts.

La Tech never trailed in this one, but both teams came out ice cold as the score was still 4-2 after five minutes of play. But after the first television timeout, La Tech heated up and went on a 13-2 run, including three 3-pointers, en route to a 31-18 lead at the break.

Tulane cut it to nine early in the second half, but La Tech went on a 14-2 run to quash any comeback hopes.
