BARCELONA, Spain (AP) - Barcelona has ruled Andres Iniesta out of its Copa del Rey match at Getafe on Thursday because of a knee injury.
Iniesta hurt his left knee in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Atletico Madrid and the Spanish champions have decided not to risk the Spain midfielder for the return leg of their last 16 cup match, which they lead 4-0.
Barcelona will also rest midfielder Sergio Busquets and fullback Jordi Alba.
Barcelona’s next league game is at Levante on Sunday.
