ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Western Wyoming Community College officials say a new workforce training center will help to educate workers for the petroleum and mining industries.

Classes begin this week at the $1.8 million facility in Rock Springs.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner (https://www.rocketminer.com/ ) reports Gov. Matt Mead took part in a ribbon-cutting Monday for the Western Wyoming Workforce Training Center at the college.
