LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say they believe a man was impersonating a Cox cable employee when he forced his way inside a home and sexually assaulting someone.
Authorities say the incident happened Dec. 27 at a home near West Sahara Avenue and South Durango Drive.
Detectives say the suspect knocked on the door and pushed his way inside when the victim opened it. Police say he left after the assault and the victim called police.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s who’s about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds.
Police say he was wearing a light blue, short-sleeved, button-down shirt with a “Cox” logo, along with dark blue pants and leather gloves. They don’t believe he was a Cox employee.
