CHATEAUGAY, N.Y. (AP) - State police are investigating a head-on collision in northern New York involving two SUV’s that killed the driver of each vehicle.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. Monday on Route 11 in the Town of Chateaugay. Lloyd Taylor, 49, of Clifton Park was traveling eastbound in a 2013 Nissan Frontier, and a 2005 GMC Jimmy operated by 43-year-old Demetrios Syrros of Prescott, Ontario, was westbound when both vehicles hit head-on.
