WEST JEFFERSON, Ohio (AP) - The State Highway Patrol says a worker walking at a central Ohio construction site was run over by a truck and died.

Troopers say the 52-year-old man was pinned under the truck Monday morning at the site east of U.S. Route 42 in Madison County. The Columbus Dispatch (https://bit.ly/KXispw ) reports the driver of the truck apparently didn’t see his co-worker and backed over him at a power-line installation site.

The patrol identified the worker who died as Nick Yurjevich Jr., of Bergholz.

The patrol says the truck was being driven by a 29-year-old man from Quaker City. He wasn’t hurt.

The death remains under investigation.
