An Oregon pimp claims in a $100 million lawsuit that Nike is partially responsible for his brutal beating against a john while he was wearing the company’s shoes.

Sirgiorgiro Clardy was wearing a pair of Jordan shoes when he repeatedly stomped the head of a man who was trying to leave a Portland hotel without paying Clardy’s prostitute in June 2012, The Oregonian reported. The crime landed him a 100-year prison sentence, with the possibility of release after 36 years.

Now, he’s suing Nike because he says the company failed to provide customers with a warning label that the shoes could be used as dangerous weapons, the newspaper said.

“Under product liability there is a certain standard of care that is required to be upheld by potentially dangerous product … ” said Clardy, who is representing himself, in a handwritten complaint. “Do (sic) to the fact that these defendants named in this Tort claim failed to warn of risk or to provide an adequate warning or instruction it has caused personal injury in the likes of mental suffering.”

Nike has not yet been served with the suit, nor has the company made any public response, The Oregonian reported.
