2013 has been an impossible year for Congress to govern responsibly under this lawless administration. Helplessly we have stood by while our country was being bankrupted, our national security was endangered, our freedom of speech was attacked and our system of health care was destroyed.

Laws have been passed through the circumvention of Congress in violation of the Constitution. A corrupt and damaging health care bill was forced through in 2010 with the aid of lies and payoffs. Now exemptions are being given to a select few while the monstrosity is forced on the rest of us. Is this not discrimination and a violation of our civil rights?

Unfortunately, the Obama administration is bent on committing even more irreparable damage to our country. In the meantime, Congress ignores its oath to “support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.” Dare we hope for a better 2014, or will America as we know it be lost?
