NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Business owner Robert Bloxom Jr. is the Republican Party’s nominee to fill a vacant seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.

The Virginian-Pilot (https://bit.ly/1eG06WZ ) reports that Bloxom won his party’s nomination Saturday. He’ll face Democrat Willie Randall in the Feb. 25 special election to fill Lynwood Lewis’ 100th District seat.

Lewis prevailed in a recount to succeed Lt. Gov. Ralph S. Northam in the Virginia Senate.

The House’s 100th District includes the counties of Accomack and Northampton and portions of the cities of Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
