CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Wildlife officials are reminding hunters that the deadline to apply for licenses for several types of animals is fast approaching.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1bL4Fg4 ) the deadline for applying for a moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goat and wild bison for all hunters is 5 p.m. Feb. 28.

Bison hunters are required to submit the full license fee at the time of application, which is $263 for a female/calf wild bison license and $413 for the any wild bison license for Wyoming residents.

Hunters can only apply online through the Wyoming Game and Fish website at https://wgfd.wyo.gov .
