KODIAK, Alaska (AP) - Even the state’s top official knows what it’s like to be weathered out.

Gov. Sean Parnell was to have flown to Kodiak on Friday.

But the Kodiak Daily Mirror reports (https://is.gd/B0RGA9) the trip was canceled because of weather.

The National Weather Service website says there was reduced visibility because of snow and blowing snow, and that was likely to continue into Saturday morning.

Parnell plans to reschedule the visit, but hasn’t set a date yet.
