MILWAUKEE (AP) - Wisconsin has recorded its first flu-related death of a child this season.

State public health officials said Friday a child in northern Wisconsin who was not vaccinated against influenza has died from complications of the virus.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (https://bit.ly/1ngJm8c) reports no information about the child’s age, hometown or date of death was released.

Last month, two young Wisconsin women died from flu complications after not being vaccinated. One woman was pregnant and the other had recently given birth.

An otherwise healthy 52-year-old Hartland man died from flu complications Jan. 26. He also did not get vaccinated against the flu.
