Real estate magnate Donald Trump left the door open Thursday to a 2016 presidential run and, ever the prognosticator, predicted a “disastrous” midterm election for Democrats.

Before making a decision on whether to run for the White House, Mr. Trump said that he will watch what happens in the fall elections, where he predicted Democrats will take it on the chin.

“I am going to look at what happens in ’14,” he said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “We have an interesting election coming up. I think because of Obamacare, it is going to be really disastrous for Democrats.”

He added, “We’ll see what happens, but I think it is going to be a very big win for Republicans.”
