VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - A Virginia Beach man has been sentenced to 80 years in prison for a December 2012 crime spree.

The Virginian-Pilot (https://bit.ly/LNV5zj) reports 37-year-old Ryan Patrick Brown was sentenced Tuesday in Virginia Beach Circuit Court.

Prosecutors say Brown wounded two employees with a handgun during a pizza shop robbery, fatally shot a homeless man a few days later and stole a rifle from a pawn shop.

Brown pleaded guilty in October to second-degree murder, malicious wounding, robbery, grand larceny of a firearm and four counts of using a firearm.
