A massive winter storm churned through parts of the United States, leaving thousands without power and thousands more stranded at various airports on Wednesday.
Accuweather reported that the storm struck when some were still trying to dig out from two previous storms.
More than 100 million could be impacted by this latest winter fiasco, Accuweather said. More than 1,700 flights across the Plains, Midwest and Northeast were canceled, and another 4,100 delayed.
Between 6 and 12 inches of snow were expected to drop in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and other states.
