Justin Bieber’s life seems to be spinning out of the control as the whole world watches, so the troubled pop star has decided to turn to his faith to help face his demons.
Multiple sources confirmed to the New York Post that the 19-year-old Canadian was looking for a Manhattan property with a private pool to conduct a baptismal ceremony with the Hillsong Church NYC.
“Justin and his team spent time on Saturday searching for a place with a pool where they could conduct a baptism for him, a cleansing ritual, with the Hillsong Church. But they couldn’t find a place in time,” an unnamed source told the New York Post.
“Justin is serious about his Christian faith, and after recent events, he needed to take a pause,” another source said.
The church is led by Pastor Carl Lentz, a personal friend of Mr. Bieber’s who has provided him with spiritual counsel in the past.
Mr. Bieber is currently awaiting a March 3 trial date for charges of DUI, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license on Jan. 23.
He’s also due in a Toronto court on March 10 for allegedly attacking a limo driver in December.
On Tuesday, the singer settled a Los Angeles lawsuit with his former bodyguard — who accused him of assault in 2012, the New York Daily News reported.
