The Twitterverse had a field day on Wednesday after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani tweeted for his very own RouhaniCare.

“Gov will extend medical insurance to all Iranians. First step will be to cover 5mn uninsured Iranians by the social safety net #RouhaniCare,” the president’s account tweeted.

“Will the website work?” one Twitter user asked.

“Obama must sue for trademark violation,” wrote the Huffington Post’s Mehdi Hasan.

“Now the Iranians are just trolling,” wrote The Daily Caller’s Jim Antle.

“#RouhaniCare is the hashtag of the day. Not even close,” wrote MSNBC’s Christopher Hayes.

Wall Street Journal columnist Sadanand Dhume tweeted: “In spirit of cooperation, feel free to copy US website.”

Buzzfeed’s Andrew Kaczynski said: “If you like your plan you can keep it.”

Mr. Rouhani’s account is not verified by Twitter and is thought to be run by his aides.
