SEATTLE — A few hundred thousand people are expected to descend on downtown Seattle for the Seahawks’ Super Bowl victory parade on Wednesday.

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray says his office estimates about 300,000 fans coming to celebrate with the team as it parades down Fourth Avenue. The parade will start at 11 a.m. and go from Denny Way to CenturyLink Field.

While the sun will be shining, the forecast calls for temperatures in the low 30s.

The parade will feature Seahawks players, coaches, Sea Gals, Blitz and the blue Thunder drum line. Players and coaches will be in Ride The Duck vehicles and open-roof military Humvees.

On Tuesday, Seattle schools officials said they will leave it up to school principals to excuse absences from students attending the parade.
