PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Officials at Colorado State University-Pueblo will cut 14 faculty positions, including 12 that have been filled, as the university moves to reduce costs.
Before officials are finished in June, more than 40 positions will be eliminated.
The complete list was released Monday by CSU-Pueblo President Lesley Di Mare.
According to the Pueblo Chieftain (https://tinyurl.com/mzor368 ), no tenured or tenured-track faculty members are scheduled to be eliminated.
Di Mare says class loads of the current faculty members will be adjusted to cover classes of the eliminated positions.
Officials recently announced the university needs to cut at least 41 positions to make up for a $3.3 million budget shortfall.
