SALEM, Ore. (AP) - A state official says independent investigators looking into the Cover Oregon failures have not been able to talk to six employees of Oracle Corp. whom they’ve asked to interview.
Sarah Miller of the Department of Administrative services told a state legislative panel Friday that Oracle has only made available one senior official who wasn’t among the six that investigators wanted to interview.
Miller is the state administrator overseeing the work of First Data Government Solutions on the review requested by Gov. John Kitzhaber. She says Oracle has allowed its chief technology officer to answer questions but she’s unsure how involved he was in developing the troubled technology behind Oregon’s health insurance exchange.
Oracle Corp. is the project’s main technology contractor. A spokeswoman declined to comment.
