RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Virginia Supreme Court has revived White House gate crasher Tareq Salahi’s $50 million lawsuit against a company he and his ex-wife hired to promote their reality television careers.

Salahi claims DD Entertainment LLC encouraged Michaele Salahi to leave him and run away with Journey guitarist Neal Schon. The lawsuit says money the company was holding for the Salahis was paid only to Michaele.

A Warren County judge dismissed the lawsuit, citing a state law barring claims based on alienation of affection. But the justices ruled Thursday that the lawsuit pertains to a business relationship that has nothing to do with the couple’s marital status.

The Salahis gained notoriety in 2009 when they crashed a White House state dinner - a stunt that prompted concern about the Secret Service’s effectiveness.
