ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Tech senior wide receiver Darren Waller has been suspended for the first two games of the 2014 season for a violation of team rules.
Coach Paul Johnson announced the suspension on Friday. The team did not disclose the rules violations.
Waller was second on the team, and first among wide receivers, with 17 catches for 367 yards and three touchdowns in 2013. He had a 72-yard touchdown catch against Mississippi in the Music City Bowl.
