First lady Michelle Obama is set to make an appearance on the comedy half-hour “Parks and Recreation” show — yet one more way for the “Let’s Move” healthy-eating initiative to wind into the public consciousness of mainstream America.

It’s not clear that Mrs. Obama’s signature exercise and eating program will emerge as the main theme in the season finale, The Hill reported. But it is likely: The show famously pokes fun of the sedentary and unhealthy lifestyle of the town it’s set in and leading lady Amy Poehler often deals with just that theme — in a comedic manner.

The show’s set in a fictional town in Indiana — a state that made an actual No. 4 listing on the nation’s obesity ratings for all 50 states.

The show’s official Facebook page put out the announcement: “First Lady Michelle Obama must have heard we’re #4 in obesity … She’s coming to #ParksandRec for our season finale on April 24!”
