CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Five more New Hampshire companies are getting grants to help them train workers in new skills.

Gov. Maggie Hassan said Friday that the companies will share just under $145,000 to train 171 workers. The five recipients are Intelitek of Manchester, L-3 Warrior Systems of Londonderry, Pennichuck Water in Merrimack, Medtronic Advanced Energy of Portsmouth and New England Wire Technologies of Lisbon.

The Job Training Fund has awarded $6.7 million since 2007, with employers contributing an additional $9.4 million. Hassan says the grants have benefited nearly 20,000 workers.
