LAKE VIEW, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a 2-year-old girl was killed when the vehicle she was riding in left the road and crashed into a tree.
State police say the crash happened early Thursday on Arkansas 44 in Phillips County. According to a preliminary report, a vehicle was driving east on the highway when the driver missed a curve and crashed into the tree.
State police say all four occupants of the vehicle were taken to a Helena-West Helena hospital, where 2-year-old Anastasia Paige was pronounced dead. State police say two adults and 1-year-old boy were injured in the crash.
