HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) - Jerrelle Benimon scored 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Towson to a 69-66 victory over James Madison on Wednesday.

Rafriel Guthrie added 16 points and a pair of steals for the Tigers (21-9, 12-3 Colonial Athletic Association). Timajh Parker-Rivera scored nine with seven rebounds. The Tigers were hot from the free-throw line with Guthrie hitting 10 of 10, Benimon hitting 9 of 10, and the team going 30 of 31 overall.

Towson also dominated James Madison on the boards 42-29, but was stone cold from 3-point range after sinking just 1 of 12.

James Madison (11-18, 6-9) led 31-28 at the break but Towson slowly chipped away, finally overtaking the Dukes with a Benimon jumper at 7:49 for a 55-54 lead. Tied at 60 with less than 3 minutes remaining, the Tigers went 9-6 to finish with the help of perfect free-throw shooting from Parker-Rivera and Four McGlynn.
