WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Worcester police have arrested a man they say stole nine snowblowers.

Police started investigating Sunday when they got reports of someone seen prying open the doors of a shed at a condominium complex and stealing a snowblower.

Based on a description from witnesses, police tracked down 43-year-old Donald Young at his home.

Police said in a statement that in addition to nine snowblowers in plain sight in his backyard, they found three containers of gasoline, a lawn mower and a portable heater.

Police say in a search of Young’s vehicle they found a pry bar, two hammers, a pair of pliers, two bolt cutters, and gloves.

Young is charged with more than 20 counts of larceny. It’s not clear if he has a lawyer.
