SULLIVAN, Wis. (AP) - Get ready for yet another arctic blast, complete with ice-cold temperatures and the possibility of life-threatening wind chills.

Frigid air from Canada is expected to move into the state Tuesday. Temperatures will plunge into the single digits in northwestern Wisconsin and the teens and low 20s elsewhere.

The National Weather Service says wind will be a factor Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Wind chills could reach minus 35 in the northern and western parts of the state and minus 20 in the south and east.

There won’t be a break until about Monday. That’s when most temperatures should return to the low 20s.

Weather Service meteorologist Sarah Marquardt says this has been Milwaukee’s coldest winter in 32 years, and Madison’s worst winter in 35 years.
