CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A national survey says Wyoming residents don’t think they’re doing as well as last year.

Wyoming’s well-being ranking dropped from 13th in the nation to 34th in this year’s Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle (https://bit.ly/1hKvWnC ) reports that Wyomingites surveyed had relatively good overall emotional and behavioral health and reported adequate access to necessities like food, shelter and health care.

However, respondents gave low marks for physical health and work environment.

Wyoming’s overall wellness score was 65.6, slightly lower than the national average of 66.2 percent.

Except for Idaho, surrounding states scored higher than the Cowboy State. North Dakota ranked first, South Dakota was fifth, Colorado ranked seventh and Utah placed 12th.
