Kim Jong-un’s wife was spotted in public wearing the same maternity dress she wore while carrying the North Korean leader’s first child — sparking talk that another is on the way.

Ri Sol-ju was captured by a photographer at a recent sports event wearing what seemed to be the same loose-fitting outfit she frequently donned in the lead-up to the birth of her daughter in 2012, The Daily Mail reported.

Mr. Kim, 31, is also thought to have another daughter with a different woman. He is likely to want this child — if the pregnancy talks are true — to be a boy, to carry on the family’s dictatorship, The Daily Mail reported.

“There have been rumors that Ri is pregnant again for a few weeks now,” said Toshimitsu Shigemura, a professor with Tokyo’s Waseda University and an expert on North Korean matters, to The Daily Telegraph. “This is not really a surprise as Kim needs a son as a successor for the dynasty that has ruled North Korea since it was founded by his grandfather, Kim Il-sung.”

The professor also said that “it’s absolutely impossible that a daughter could take over as leader,” in the newspaper.
