LA CONNER, Wash. (AP) - The Washington state Ecology Department says two more boats have been raised after sinking in a La Conner-area marina fire that destroyed seven vessels and damaged at least eight others.

The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/qJeZSe ) Ecology officials said Monday that four boats have been pulled from the water at the Shelter Bay Marina.

In all, six of the destroyed boats sank last Friday. Ecology officials expect the last two boats to be raised Tuesday or Wednesday. The department says the vessels are being barged to a shipyard.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Ecology says more than 2,400 gallons of oil and fuel leaked into the water, with more on board the sunken vessels. Officials say all recoverable oil has been contained. So far, no wildlife impacts have been reported.
