NEW YORK (AP) - Alex Rosenberg scored 18 points as Columbia downed Yale 62-46 on Sunday.

The loss drops Yale out of a first place tie in the Ivy League with Harvard, which beat Princeton on Saturday.

Columbia (17-10, 6-4 Ivy League) used a 9-0 run midway through the first half - including a 3-pointer by Steve Frankoski - to go up 19-10 en route to leading 30-23 at the break.

Frankoski had 14 points at intermission and finished with 17 points on 7 of 13 shooting. Maodo Lo added 16 points. Rosenberg went 12 of 14 from the line. Columbia turned the ball over just nine times, compared to 14 turnovers for Yale.

Armani Cotton scored 15 points and gathered eight rebounds to pace Yale (14-10, 8-2). Justin Sears added 13 points and eight rebounds, but only made half of his 14 free throw attempts.
