PHOENIX (AP) - Federal authorities say 13 people illegally entered Arizona from Mexico through a tunnel where a drug bust occurred five days earlier.

The Arizona Republic reports (https://bit.ly/1hi47OV ) U.S. Border Patrol agents said Friday they arrested all 13.

According to the Nogales International, which first reported the arrests, the 13 migrants allegedly crossed the border from Nogales, Sonora on Feb. 15 to a house where the 481-foot tunnel ends.

The newspaper says they were taken into custody as soon as they exited the house.

Border Patrol spokesman Vic Brabble says agents on Feb. 10 arrested three people after seizing more than 630 pounds of marijuana and half a pound of heroin.

Brabble says the Arizona-end of the tunnel is under constant surveillance and the end in Mexico should be secure now.
