OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - The Golden State Warriors will be without power forward David Lee and center Andrew Bogut against the Brooklyn Nets.
Warriors coach Mark Jackson says Lee has a stomach illness and Bogut will sit out his seventh straight game because of an ailing left shoulder.
Nets coach Jason Kidd says recently acquired guard Marcus Thornton will likely miss Saturday night’s game because of a stomach illness. Brooklyn got Thornton from Sacramento on Wednesday for Jason Terry and Reggie Evans.
Lee was sent home from the morning shootaround after not feeling well. Jackson says Lee’s symptoms started before he helped the Warriors beat Houston on Thursday night.
Jackson says Bogut will likely return at some point during the Warriors’ six-game road trip, which begins Monday at Detroit.
