NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Yale University says it has received two anonymous reports of students having been sexually assaulted at a weekend party held at a fraternity house off campus earlier this month.

Yale spokesman William Hathaway said on Saturday that the university received reports that the alleged incidents occurred on Feb. 8, but did not know if anyone had been arrested. New Haven police say they are not investigating because no victim has come forward to them.

Yale police Chief Ronnell Higgins issued two campus-wide alerts this week after receiving separate anonymous reports that two students were the victims of sexual assault by acquaintances. He says the acquaintances were also described as Yale students.
