MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) - Karvel Anderson scored 26 points as Robert Morris overcame a 10-point second half deficit to beat LIU Brooklyn 73-64 on Thursday.

Anthony Myers-Pate added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Colonials, while Charles Oliver had 12 and Lucky Jones had 10.

Jason Brickman and Gerrell Martin led LIU Brooklyn with 11 points apiece and Gilbert Parga added 10.

The Blackbirds (8-17, 3-9 Northeast Conference) used an 11-point run, including a 3-pointer from Joel Hernandez, at the end of the first half to take a 39-29 lead into the intermission.

Robert Morris (17-11, 12-1) revered the tide late in the second half. Down by 10 with 6:53 left, the Colonials outscored LIU-Brooklyn 24-6 down the stretch to escape with the win - and their 3 ½ game lead in the Northeast Conference.

Brooklyn missed six of its last seven shots in the game.
