WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A South Florida man has been convicted of participating in a fatal drug robbery.

A Palm Beach County jury found 26-year-old Christopher Desilien guilty Wednesday of two counts of first-degree murder, along with several other charges.

Authorities say Desilien and Jaquelin VilSaint killed 22-year-old Kyle Seymore and 24-year-old Wendell Chestnut and left 23-year-old Armand Haines for dead during the September 2007 robbery. Prosecutors say Desilien and VilSaint shot the men to take a half-pound bag of marijuana.

Desilien’s attorney told jurors that VilSaint acted alone. The Palm Beach Post (https://goo.gl/31f88V ) reports that VilSaint was previously sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
