LAS VEGAS (AP) - An official says a bomb squad checked and determined there was no danger from an item found in the bed of a pickup truck parked at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

Airport spokesman Chris Jones says the all-clear was given about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Jones says access to one floor of a multi-level parking structure outside Terminal 1 was restricted for about an hour while Las Vegas police and Nellis Air Force Base personnel checked the item.

Jones says it appeared to be an inert military-style device.
