CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Emanuel has a message for Mother Nature: “Enough already.”

Emanuel made the statement Wednesday amid the fifth snowiest winter in Chicago and as temperatures warmed to melt the snow. The Chicago Sun-Times reports (https://bit.ly/1c53chK ) that Emanuel called it a “force of nature.” Then the mayor told Mother Nature she’s “trying our patience.”

He says, “You win. Stop it already. No more.”

A rain Thursday and more melting snow worried Chicago-area residents that flooding would cause submerged streets, sidewalks and basements.
