SAINT BONAVENTURE, N.Y. (AP) - Matthew Wright scored 22 points, including the clinching free throws with 12 seconds left, as St. Bonaventure edged Duquesne 71-67 Wednesday.

Youssou Ndoye’s layup on a Wright feed with 33 seconds left broke a tie at 67 and then Derrick Colter, who hit buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give Duquesne a win in the first matchup, missed two free throws, setting the stage for Wright’s clutch free throws.

Jordan Gathers added 18 points and Dion Wright 16 for the Bonnies (16-10, 6-6 Atlantic 10).

Micah Mason had 14, Colter and Ovie Soko added 12 each for the Dukes (11-14, 3-9).

St. Bonaventure closed the half with a 12-2 run to take a 36-25 lead. Matthew Wright hit a 3 to open the second half but Duquesne, which won the first game 83-81, went on a 15-2 run to make it close. But this time the Dukes didn’t make the clutch shots.
