JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - Financial disclosure reports show state Sen. Lesil McGuire with an edge in available cash over her Republican rival for lieutenant governor, Anchorage Mayor Dan Sullivan.

McGuire reported raising about $108,000 between June 10 and Feb. 1. She ended the period with nearly $73,000 available.

Sullivan raised more than $90,000 from June 19 to Feb. 1, and ended the period with about $68,000 on hand. But he also has a debt of nearly $2,200 for consulting and other work.

Alaska’s current lieutenant governor, Republican Mead Treadwell, is not seeking re-election and is instead running for U.S. Senate.
