ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say patients at a Long Island nursing home are being moved to another building because of a broken sprinkler pipe.

Rockville Centre fire officials say patients at Maple Pointe Assisted Living were being moved Wednesday morning because the broken pipe is part of the fire protection system.

Julie Scully, a spokeswoman for the village, says 155 patients are being moved to the Sandel Senior Center down the block.

There was no immediate answer at the facility.
