MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Oregon State Police say one man has been arrested and $90,000 worth of stolen construction equipment and tools has been recovered in southern Oregon.
Police said Tuesday that the stolen items were found when they got warrants and searched two properties near Rogue River, Ore., earlier this month. Recovered property included an excavator, a flatbed trailer, a construction site trailer and home cabinets and generators. Much of the property has been returned to the owners.
The arrested man was identified as 43-year-old Frank Morgan Wheeler, who lived at one of the properties. He has been booked into the Jackson County Jail for investigation of offenses including first-degree aggravated theft and methamphetamine possession.
State police worked with the Jackson County sheriff’s office.
