One of Puerto Rico’s most-wanted murder suspects, 24-year-old Pedro A. Salcedo, has been caught and arrested in Norwich, Conn.

He’s wanted for attempted murder with a gun in Puerto Rico, NBC reported. He faces an extradition hearing on Tuesday in Norwich, police said. Once extradited, he’ll also face extra charges, including two counts of conjugal abuse and aggravated conjugal abuse of a minor while he was in San Juan, NBC reported.

Mr. Salcedo also faces charges in Norwich — being a fugitive from justice and interfering with police, NBC reported.

It’s not clear how Mr. Salcedo — who’s on the top 10 Most Wanted list in Puerto Rico — was apprehended, but NBC reported that he was found due to a joint investigation by Norwich and Puerto Rico officials.
