NEW YORK (AP) - New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has added three more senior staffers to his administration.

De Blasio, a Democrat, named Maya Wiley as Counsel to the Mayor. Wiley is a longtime civil rights attorney who founded the Center for Social Inclusion, which works on policy strategies to improve racial equality at public and private institutions.

She will advise de Blasio on legal matters involving the mayor and executive staff.

The mayor also tapped Emily Lloyd to run the Department for Environmental Protections. She is currently the administrator of Prospect Park (Brooklyn) and president of the Prospect Park Alliance.

He also picked Donna Corrado, an executive at Catholic Charities, to head the Department of Aging.

De Blasio has been slower to fill out his administration than most recent mayors.
