LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Central Arkansas Development Council is to begin taking applications for heating assistance for low income families.

CADC will begin crisis intervention assistance to families with disconnect notices in the Crisis Low-Income Home Energy Assistance in 12 counties in central and south Arkansas.

Applications will be taken Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds’ Arts and Crafts Building, in Little Rock. Applications will be taken Monday through Wednesday at the Arkansas Workforce Center of Little Rock on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. until noon based on staff availability.

Applicants must have a disconnect notice with a disconnect date within 7 days of application date and households must meet income guidelines and furnish proof of all household income for the previous month.
